2019-2020 posed many challenges for the Sivan Arul Foundation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters such as cyclones and floods, all of which made our relief work more challenging than previous years. This year, whilst generous donations from supporters in the UK and Australia helped support the increase in homelessness caused by natural disasters, it was a challenge to fund all our projects as we were unable to organise fundraising events. On a positive note, our students did well in the final year national exams and the Sivan Arul Foundation continues to strive for its mission to improve the lives of war affected women and underprivileged citizens.
