Sowing Seeds of Change for a Brighter Sri Lanka

Brindha’s New Beginning: A Heartfelt Farewell from Sivan Arul Girls Home

Every child who grows up at Sivan Arul Illam holds a special place in our hearts. They come to us with dreams, and we walk alongside them until they’re ready to step into the world with confidence and hope. Recently, one such journey reached a beautiful new chapter, Brindha became a bride.

From Childhood to a New Chapter

Brindha, raised with love and care at the Sivan Arul Girls Home, recently began her new life as a married woman. This joyful moment was not only a celebration of her future but also a powerful reflection of the foundation she built at Sivan Arul.

Thanks to two generous sponsors from abroad, Brindha’s wedding day was made incredibly special. They not only supported the wedding arrangements but also surprised the family by furnishing the newly built home she moved into with her husband in Yettoyanthotta. Their kindness transformed a life milestone into a day filled with love and dignity.

A Bittersweet Goodbye

On the day of the wedding, the atmosphere at the Girls Home was filled with emotion. Children and staff gathered to say goodbye, many holding back tears as they bid farewell to their sister, mentor, and friend. As the vehicle drove away, leaving her at her new home, it was more than a goodbye. It was a symbol of everything she had grown into, a confident young woman, ready to begin her new journey.

What This Moment Means to Us

Brindha’s story is a reminder of why Sivan Arul exists. It’s about providing not just shelter, but support, love, and guidance. It’s about standing with our children until they’re ready to fly on their own. And when they do, they take a piece of Sivan Arul with them, our values, our love, and a lifetime of memories.

Wishing Her a Lifetime of Happiness

To Brindha, we wish a future filled with happiness, strength, and endless blessings. May her new home be filled with laughter, love, and peace.
